MAJOR LINDSEY A. PHILLABAUM

Maj Lindsey A. Phillabaum is the Operations Officer at Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Detachment 290, University of Kentucky (KY), Lexington, KY.  She supervises all unit operations and training functions and is responsible for coordinating all detachment activities for cadre, delivers instruction on foundational leadership curricula to cadets, and acts on the behalf of the Det Commander in their absence.

Maj Phillabaum graduated from the University of Kentucky and commissioned out of AFROTC Detachment 290 in 2006.  Prior to her current position, Maj Phillabaum was the Chief of Staff at the Portland Air National Guard Base, Portland, OR.  Maj Phillabaum was the Command Manager for four different Wing Staff Agency shops and coordinated all policymaking functions for the 142d Fighter Wing.  She was also responsible for all strategic initiatives directed by the 142d Fighter Wing Commander and provided protocol expertise for 19 subordinate commands.
